Hello wonderful world! Hello Wonderful Nashville! I have been lacking on the blogging lately, but especially this week. Some of you may not be from Nashville, and if you aren’t I will give you a quick update. Last weekend, 5/1/10, we were hit with a bad storm, bad isn’t even the right word for it, it was 36 hours straight of rain and between 14-20 inches of rain depending on where you were. I am so lucky and blessed to not have had any damage but there were some that were not so lucky. I have spent the past week volunteering at the Disaster Relief Information Center located at the Bellevue Community Center. I met so many amazing people, volunteers and flood victims, and spent so much time hearing their stories, watching them cry, helping them get the information they need and getting the supplies that were necessary. It was just the most fulfilling thing I could ever have been involved with. While they have received a lot of donations, monetary and material wise, they still need more. This is why I have decided to offer what I can.
So for the next week I will be offering the following promotion.The last day to donate is Sunday May 16th.
